Comparative Advantage of Value Added in Exports

서울대학교 무역학과와 동대학원을 졸업하고 미국 텍사스 오스틴대학교에서 경제학박사 학위를 취득했다. 현재 대외경제정책연구원 부원장으로 재직중이다. 지은 책으로 <An Empirical Analysis of International Trade Policy>, <Analysis of the Trade Negotiation Options in the East Asian Context>(공저) 등이 있다.

독일 자르뷔르켄 대학에서 경제학 석사학위 그리고 뮌헨 대학에서 경제학 박사학위를 받았다. 대외경제정책연구원(2001-2005)에서 FTA 팀장을 역임하였으며, 현재 공주대학교 경제통상학부(국제통상학전공) 교수로 재직 중이다. 공저로 『원산지 누적조항의 무역비용 추정과 경제적 효과』(대외경제정책연구원, 2017), East Asian Economic Integration(Cengage Learning, 2015), The Great Recession and Import Protection(World Bank, CEPR, 2011) 등 다수가 있고, 주요 논문으로 “Institutional Economic Integration between South and North Korea and the Economic Impacts of Integration”(Asian Economic Journal, 2018), “Formation of Interdependent Regional Trade Agreements and Production Networks”(The World Economy, 2017), “Trade Facilitation Provisions in Regional Trade Agreements: Discriminatory or Non-discriminatory?”(East Asian Economic Review, 2016) 등이 있다.
