GATT/WTO체제에서 한국은 규모에 있어서 세계 10대 통상국가의 반열에 올라섰는데, 이제는 정치·경제적 측면에서 전략적으로 통상의 국익을 극대화하여 진정한 의미에서 세계 10대 통상국가로서 발돋움해야 할 것이다.
