본 상품은 컬러파일을 흑백으로 인쇄한 도서로 일부 컬러부분이 흐릿하게 인쇄될 수 있습니다. 필자는 GRE 공부를 할 때 그때 당시에 정설로 여겨졌던 4000개 가량의 단어들을 무식하게 전부 외웠었다. 그땐 그냥 무식하게 외웠었지만, 지금 생각해보면 아는 단어들을 거르고, 불필요한 단어들을 암기하는데 시간을 많이 낭비하였던 것 같다. 필자는 앞으로 GRE를 공부할 학생들에게 이런 불필요하게 낭비되는 시간을 줄여주고자 출제된 빈도수와 단어의 난이도를 종합적으로 고려하여 “반드시 외워야 하는” 단어들만 엄선하여 『일격필살 GRE VOCA』를 집필하였다. 또한, 현실적으로 단어 암기에 많은 시간을 쓰는 것이 불가능한 학생들의 현실을 고려하여, 현실적으로 한 달 안에 외울 수 있는 단어만큼만 선정하여 바쁜 수험생들에게 가장 빠르고 합리적인 솔루션을 제공하려고 노력하였다. 뿐만 아니라, 처음 GRE 공부를 시작하는 학생 대부분이 오랜 시간 여러 블로그를 돌아다니며 정보를 찾는데 많은 시간을 쓰곤 하는데, 시간이 없는 학생들에게는 이것만 한 시간 낭비가 또 없다. 필자는 수험시절 웬만한 블로그는 다 뒤져봤다고 할 수 있을 정도로 많은 시간을 ‘방법들’을 찾아다니는데 낭비했다. 지금 돌아보면 참 아까운 시간이 아닐 수 없지만, 그때 수집한 모든 정보와 전략들을 총정리해 둔 이 책이 후배 수험생 여러분의 시간을 아껴줄 수 있기를 바란다.
