a.ceder@auckland.ac.nz ceder@technion.ac.il Avishai(Avi) Ceder는 현재 이스라엘 기술연구소인 Technion의 교통 담당 초빙교수이며 오클랜드대학교의 명예교수이다. 오클랜드대학교의 교통연구센터(TRC)의 설립자로서 2014년까지 TRC 연구소장을 역임하였다. Avi Ceder는 1994년부터 1997년까지 이스라엘 교통부의 수석 과학자를 지냈으며 동 기간 동안 유럽 공동체의 교통 프로그램에 대표자 및 이스라엘 기술연구소인 Technion의 교통공학 및 지리 정보원장을 역임하였다. 또 MIT, 캘리포니아대학교(버클리), 홍콩 및 도쿄대학에서 객원 교수로 재직했으며 ISTTT, CASPT와 같은 다양한 국제 심포지엄 및 워크숍의 회원이다. 2007년에 《Public Transit Planning and Operation: Theory, Modeling and Practice》을 출간했고, 2016년에는 《Public Transit Planning and Operation: Modeling, Practice and Behavior》 2판(CRC Press)을 출간하였다. 또한 2017년 베이징 칭화 출판사(Tsinghua Press)에서 중국어로 된 번역서를 출간하였다.
