케이 레드필드 재미슨 (지은이) 정보 더보기

존스 홉킨스 의과대학의 정신과 교수로 재직중. <불길에 닿아: 조울병과 예술가적 기질>의 저자이며 또한 1990년 미국 출판협회에서 생물의학 분야의 가장 뛰어난 교재로 선정한 <조울병>의 공저자이다. 그 밖에도 기본장애, 자살, 정신요법, 리튬을 주제로 한 80여편의 논문을 발표했다. 또한 재미슨 박사는 국내 및 국제적으로 저명한 많은 과학상을 수상하였으며, UCLA 정동장애 클리닉의 소장을 역임했다. 인간 게놈 연구소의 국립자문위원회 위원이며, 조울병의 유전적 바탕을 연구하는 대너 콘소시움의 임상 과장이기도 하다. 조울병과 예술을 주제로 한 텔레비전 연재물을 제작, 집필하여 상을 받기도 했다.현재 워싱턴에서 남편 리처드 와이어트 박사와 함께 살고있다.
