리처드 로저스 (지은이) 정보 더보기

1933년 이탈리아 피렌체에서 태어난 영국 건축가이다. 영국 AA스쿨과 미국 예일대학, 영국 왕립 건축연구소에서 수련했다. 1963년 수 로저스, 노먼 포스터, 웬디 포스터와 함께 ‘Team 4’를 설립했다. 1971년에는 렌조 피아노와 함께 퐁피두 센터 현상설계에 당선, 이를 완성시킴으로써 국제적인 명성을 얻게 되었다. 1977년 리처드 로저스 파트너십(RRP)을 설립했다. 주요 작품으로 퐁피두센터(Centre Pompidou, Paris, 1971), 런던의 로이즈(Lloyd's of London, London, 1978), 인모스 마이크로 프로세서 공장(Inmos Microprocessor Factory, Newport, 1982), 유럽 인권 법원(European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg, 1989), 밀레니엄 돔(New Millennium Experience, London, 1996) 등이 있다. 오귀스트 페레(August Perret) 상과 영국왕립건축가협회(RIBA) 금메달 등 수많은 국제적인 상을 수상했고 1991년 영국 여왕의 생일에 작위를 받았다.
