아딧야 초프라는 23세 이후로 장편영화를 만들어왔다. 1995년 데뷔작 [용감한 자가 신부를 얻는다]는 인도 영화사상 가장 큰 흥행 수입을 올린 작품 중 하나다. 아버지인 야쉬 초프라와 함께 그는 2005-2006년 인도 엔터테인먼트 업계에서 가장 영향력 있는 인물로 선정되었다.
