특히 18세기 후반과 19세기 초기의 유럽 예술 및 건축에 관심이 많은 미술사가이자 큐레이터, 편집자. 미술사 및 색과 관련된 강의를 꾸준히 해 오고 있으며, 관련 책을 다수 출간했다. 2015년부터 로열 파빌리온Royal Pavilion과 브라이턴 뮤지엄Brighton Museum에서 큐레이터로 활동하고 있다. 저서로는 『브라이턴과 로이스에서 꼭 가봐야 할 111가지 장소111 Places in Brighton and Lewes You Shouldn't Miss』(2018)가 있으며, 공저로는 『색의 말Languages of Colour』(2012), 『달의 예술과 과학, 문화Moon: Art, Science, Culture』(2018)가 있다.
