John R. Howell (지은이)    정보 더보기
NASA 루이스 연구센터, 휴스턴 대학교를 거쳐 1978년부터 오스틴 텍사스 대학교 기계공학과에 재직 중이다. 그는 복사열전달에 대한 공로로 1997년에 ASME/AIChE로부터 Max Jacob상을 받았고, ASME 열전달 기념상(1991년), AIAA 열물리상(1990년) 등도 받았으며, 1987년에는 ASEE 우수 교수상을 받았다.
