Eve Lipchik은 1988년 미국 위스콘신 주 밀워키의 ICF Consultants, Incorporated를 공동 설립하였고, 밀워키 소재 단기치료센터(Brief Family Therapy Center)의 핵심 멤버로서 해결중심치료의 개발에 참여하였다. 현재 미국 부부가족치료학회 공인 슈퍼바이저로 활동 중이며, 가족상담을 실천하는 것 외에도 국내외의 교육 및 자문, 강의 등을 활발하게 진행하고 있다. 또한 Interviewing의 편집위원이자 Psychotherapy Networker, Journal of Systemic Therapies, Family Process 등의 책과 저널에 다수의 논문을 발표하였다.
