She has been an interiors writer and stylist since 1987, including a six - year stint at Homes & Gardens, where she was Decorating Editor. She is now a freelance contributor to many publications, including the Telegraph Magazine, the Independent Magazine and House & Gaarden. Her other books include Family Living, Essential Home, Harmonious Home and Children's Room Essentials. She also lectures at the KLC School of Design.
