Maximum System of a Down: The Unauthorised Biography of System of a Down [With 8 Page Book] (Audio CD)

영국의 맨 섬에서 태어나 자랐다. 사우샘프턴 대학교 고고학과를 졸업한 후, 1994년 같은 대학에서 박사학위를 받았다. 현재 맨체스터 대학교 고고학과 교수이다. 사회인류학을 비롯한 인접 학문과의 학제 간 연구에 관심이 많으며, 민족지 고고학, 문화정체성과 민족성, 고고학과 현대 정체성의 생산 등을 주로 연구하고 있다. 주요 저술로는 Early Medieval Sculpture and the Production of Meaning, Value and Place, Historic Scotland, Cultures of Ambivalence and Contempt: Studies in Jewish-non-Jewish Relations와 같은 단행본과, “Nationalism, archaeology and th interpretation of ethnicity in Ancient Palestine", "Nations, cultures and types: dismantling archaeological discourses of the Orcadian Neolithic and beyond" 등의 논문이 있다.
