Photography After Postmodernism : Barthes, Stieglitz and the Art of Memory (Hardcover)

1956년 출생으로, 영국의 시각 예술 이론가이자 사진가이다. 센트럴런던폴리테크닉에서 영화와 사진 예술을 전공하고, 리즈대학교에서 석사학위 및 박사학위를 받았다. 국제 사진 이론 저널인 『포토그래피스(Photographies)』의 공동 창립자이자 편집자이며, 현재 웨스트민스터대학교 교수로 있다. 2018년에는 사진 교육의 업적을 인정받아 영국 왕립사진협회(Royal Photographic Society) 교육상을 수상했다. 주요 저서로 『포스트모더니즘 이후의 사진: 바르트, 스티글리츠, 그리고 기억의 예술(Photography after Postmodernism: Barthes, Stieglitz, and the Art of Memory)』(2022), 『사진: 아트 에센셜(Photography: Art Essentials)』(2021), 『비판적 실천으로서의 사진: 타자에 관한 노트(Photography as Critical Practice: Notes on Otherness)』(2020) 등이 있다.
