맨체스터 건축대학에서 건축의 연속성 학부 책임자이다. 그는 도시 재건, 건물 재사용, 인테리어 건축과 설치 미술의 관계와 관련해 대학원 스튜디오 과정을 가르친다. 그녀는 세계적으로 강연 활동을 하고 세계 전역의 컨퍼런스에서 논문을 발표하고 있으며 "중재- 공공 공간에 대한 태도(Interventions- Attitudes Towards public Space, 에디토리알레 아르테미드 Editoriale Artemide, 2006)"의 저자이기도 하다.

인테리어 디자이너이며 학자이다. 그는 맨체스터 미술대학의 학부와 대학원 인테리어 디자인 과정의 학과장이다. 그는 인테리어 교육자(I. E), 영국 인테리어 건축/디자인 프로그램 리더 협회의 설립자이며 현 회장이다. 전 세계적으로 강연과 출간 활동을 펼치고 있으며 2007년에는 디자인 교육에 대한 저술에 대해 유럽 건축교육 협회(European Association of Architectural Education, EAAE)의 추천을 받았다.
