우체국 9급 계리직공무원 시험을 준비하는 수험생들의 필독서
1. 계리직공무원 업무
우체국 9급 계리직(우정서기보)공무원은 각 시도에 있는 우체국의 창구에서 우편업무와 금융업무를 수행한다. 채용이 되면 우편 창구와 금융 창구 중에서 계리원으로 배정되어 관련 업무를하게 되고 일반적으로 3년마다 한 번씩 자리가 이동된다. 동일 부서이더라도 근무 연차에 따라 맡게 되는 주요 업무는 조금씩 차이가 있다.
2. 계리직공무원 시험 응시자격과 과목
연령 상한 적용의 폐지로 인해 만 18세 이상이면 누구나 응시 가능하고 학력이나 경력, 성별구분이 없으며 특별히 갖추어야 하는 자격증도 없다. 그러나 응시하고자 하는 지역에 주민등록이되어 있어야 하는 응시 지역 거주지 제한은 적용된다.
시험과목은 한국사(상용한자 포함), 우편 및 금융상식(영어 포함), 컴퓨터일반 이렇게 3과목으로 구성된다. 한 과목당 20문제씩 전체 60문제이며, 한국사에 포함된 상용한자와 우편 및 금융상식에 포함된 영어는 기초적인 수준의 문제로 보통 2 ~ 3문제 정도씩 출제되며 고득점을 노리는 수험생이라면 배제할 수 없는 학습 과목이다.
계리직 시험을 준비하는 기간은 보통 1년 내외 정도면 가능하지만, 일반 9급 공무원 시험에 비해 상대적으로 어렵지 않은 과목 구성이라 하더라도 기초 지식이 거의 없는 상태에서 너무 짧은 기간 동안 준비하는 것은 위험하다. 또한 일반 공무원 시험 과목이나 공인 자격증 시험 과목과 유사 과목이더라도 계리직 시험 출제 경향과 유형을 잘 파악하고 접근하여야 하므로 반드시 계리직 전문 수험 서적이나 강좌를 통해 철저한 대비를 하여야 한다.
3. 계리직공무원 시험 시행주기
선발인원은 해당 직종의 결원 인원에 따라 결정되며, 2008년 처음 시행되어 지금까지 2년에 한번씩 격년제로 시험을 실시하고 있다. 2008년, 2010년, 2012년, 2014년에 시험을 시행하였고 특별한 사항이 없는 이상 2016년에도 시행 될 것으로 예상한다.
2014년 시험 기준으로 2월 중순에 시험이 시행되었으며, 시험 실시 몇 달 전에 시험 공고가 발표된다.
1차 필기시험에 대한 결과는 보통 시험 시행이후 한 달 정도 뒤에 발표 되는데, 1차 필기시험 합격자들은 2차 면접을 2 ~ 3주 뒤에 하게 된다.
4. 계리직 공무원 시험대비 컴퓨터일반(입문 이론서) 교재구성 및 학습방법
지금까지의 기출문제를 분석해 보면, 컴퓨터일반 한 과목 안에는 관련 전공자들이 배우는 교과목으로 세분화하여 구분하였을 때 총 8개 과목으로 구분할 수 있다. 그래서 본 컴퓨터일반 입문 이론서에서는 8개 교과로 구분하여 동일분야 학습을 체계적으로 할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 과목구분은 전자계산기, 데이터베이스, 정보통신, 운영체제, 자료구조, 프로그래밍, 엑셀, 기술용어 순서로 하였으며 컴퓨터 전공과 관련된 이론적 지식이 전혀 없더라도 충분히 기초지식부터 차근차근 쌓을 수 있도록 하는 것에 중점을 두고 필수적으로 알아야 하는 입문 이론을 모두 담고 있다. 물론 동영상 강좌와 함께 병행하였을 때 학습 이해와 습득의 정도가 상승될 것이다.
입문 이론에 대한 학습이 충분히 되었다면 반드시 문제집을 통해 본인의 실력을 다지고 한 수준 높은 내용에 대한 학습과 문제 유형도 익혀야 한다. 자칫 입문 이론서 한권만 끝내면 충분하리라고 여길 수도 있으나 문제집을 통한 연계 학습도 필요함을 명심하여야 한다. 여기서 좀 더 욕심을 내어 고득점을 노리는 수험생이라면 심화이론 학습까지 더 이어가야 한다. 물론 어느 학습자이든 마지막 모의고사 문제를 통한 최종 실력 점검은 필수적으로 해야 할 것이다.
