Ontopower: War, Powers, and the State of Perception (Paperback)

1987년에 프랑스 문학으로 예일 대학에서 박사학위를 취득했고, 현재 몬트리올 대학 커뮤니케이션학과에 재직 중이다. 코넬 대학, 유러피안 대학원, 캘리포니아 대학, 런던 대학 등에서도 강의했다. 감각론과 미학, 정치철학 등 다양한 분야에 걸친 학제 연구를 해 왔으며, 몬트리올에서 결성된 <감각실험실>(SenseLab)을 거점으로 하는 다양한 분야 저자들과의 공동 작업도 활발하다.
