미국의 정신과 전문의. 버몬트 주 벌링턴 시 소재의 지역사회 정신건강센터인 하워드센터(Howard Center) 의료부장이자 버몬트 의대 정신의학교실의 임상부교수다. 조현병과 같은 정신병적 정신질환자 진료를 주로 맡으며, 당사자와 가족 운동을 지원한다. 2003년에는 ‘미국 최고의 의사’에 선정되기도 했으며, 미국의 비판정신의학 인터넷언론 『매드인아메리카(Mad in America)』 에서 교육과 저술을 담당한다. https://howardcenter.org/sandra-steingard/.
