1959년 런던에서 태어났다. 런던에 있는 킹스턴 폴리테크닉kingston polytechnic, 베를린의 예술전문대학, 런던 RCAroyal college of art에서 공부했고, 1986년 런던에 오피스 포 디자인office for design을 설립했다. 알레시, 카펠리니cappellini, 플로스flos, 마지스, 무지, 삼성, 비트라 등 유럽과 아시아에 있는 다수의 유명 회사를 위해 디자인하는 그는, 파리의 크레오 갤러리galerie kreo 소속이다. 재스퍼 모리슨사jasper morrison ltd.는 런던, 파리, 도쿄에 지사를 두고 있다.
