산을 타는 배

강원도 삼척에서 태어났어요. 국제신문 신춘문예 동화 당선, 농민신문 어린이 동산 중편동화 당선. 부산아동문학상과 한국동요대상을 받았어요. 지금은 산바람 소리와 파도 소리가 어우러진 부산 해운대에서 엉뚱한 생각을 즐기는 아이들과 함께 동화와 동요를 지어 부르며 지내고 있어요. 지은 작품은 《고래를 타는 아이》, 《아빠와 나의 행복한 방》, 《산을 타는 배》, 《남양의 사탕 수수밭 아이들》 등 여러 권이 있어요.

Originally from England, he first came to Korea in 2002 where he has lived since. He quickly developed a passion for Korean language and an interest in the culture. He currently teaches English and psychology classes at a well-known university in Seoul. When he is not enjoying time with his wife and daughters, his interests include fitness, inventing, and church activities.
