브렌던 글리슨 (지은이) 정보 더보기

오스트레일리아 멜버른대학교 도시정책연구 교수이며, 지속가능한 사회 연구소 소장을 맡고 있다. 아일랜드국립대학교 지리학 교수였고, 그리피스대학교 도시연구프로그램을 개설하여 초대 원장을 역임하기도 했다. 주요 연구 분야는 도시계획과 거버넌스, 도시사회정책, 장애연구, 환경이론 및 정책 등이며, 최근에는 교외지역의 사회공간적 분석에 관심을 가지고 연구하고 있다. 저서로 『도시 조건』(The Urban Condition, 2014)이 있고, 공저로는 『정의, 사회, 자연』(Justice, Society and Nature: An Exploration of Political Ecology, 1998), 『도시 소비하기』(Consuming Cities: The Urban Environment in the Global Economy after Rio, 1999), 『공공 도시』(The Public City, 2014), 『교외의 탈성장』(Degrowth in the Suburbs: A Radical Urban Imaginary, 2018) 등이 있다.
