I was about 4 or 5 years old.
“Mom, why does the book say 1+1 = 2? I think the answer should be 1.”
I don't remember when it started, but when I was able to talk, I asked many questions.
I loved my mother but why, out of thousands of people, was she chosen to be my mother?
I went further. "Why was I born in this house and not in that house? What is above the sky? Why can birds fly, and I can’t? Why am I here? Where am I from? What should I do here? What does this mean?" As a child, as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning, I always had many questions.
One day, I wanted to be quiet. I observed what I saw, and found something special. It seems that nothing is perfect in this world. Everything depends on each other to be perfect. They exist like two sides of a coin, a head and tail. They seem to always be together but they are not. So I came to some conclusions:
This world is perfect and yet appears to be imperfect. For instance, Light can't exist without Dark, yet we forget to see Dark when we see Light. If you can see Light and know there is Dark, that is One.
Light + Dark = One
Sky + Earth = One
Man + Woman = One
Children + Adult = One
Night + Day = One
Sun + Moon = One
Human + Non Human = One
Young + Old = One
Therefore One and One are One
