토머스 G. 맨켄 (엮은이) 정보 더보기

2018년 현재 미국의 싱크탱크인 전략예산평가센터(CSBA)의 회장이다. 존스홉킨스대학교 폴 H. 니츠 고등국제학대학원 필립 머릴 전략연구센터의 수석 연구교수이며, 미 해군전쟁대학 전략학 교수로 20년 가까이 일했다. 2006년부터 2009년까지 미 국방부 정책기획실 부차관보로 근무했다. 서던캘리포니아대학교에서 역사와 국제정치를 공부했고, 존스홉킨스대학교 고등국제학대학원에서 국제 문제로 석사와 박사 학위를 받았다. 저서 및 편저로 『국제정치의 군비경쟁: 19세기부터 21세기까지(Arms Races in International Politics: From the Nineteenth to the Twenty-First Century)』, 『아시아에서의 전략: 지역 안보의 과거, 현재, 미래(Strategy in Asia: The Past, Present, and Future of Regional Security)』, 『비밀과 책략: 중국의 전략 문화 이해(Secrecy and Stratagem: Understanding Chinese Strategic Culture)』 등이 있다.
