뉴질랜드 출신의 큐레이터, 비평가, 교육자. 호주 시드니 뉴사우스웨일스대학에서 학생들을 가르치며 동시대 미술에서 소리와 소음 등 사운드의 의미를 지속적으로 탐구하고 있다. 주요 저서로 『갈라진 매체: 오작동의 사운드 Cracked Media: The Sound of Malfunction 』(2009), 『사운드 Sound 』(편저, 2011), 그리고 이 책 『갤러리 사운드 Gallery Sound 』(2017)가 있다.
