Lisa Iwamoto, winner of numerous design awards, is associate professor of architecture at UC Berkeley and a principal of IwamotoScott Architecture. She is a leader in the field of digital fabrications, and her work has been published in numerous national and international journals such as Architectural Record, I.D. Magazine, Domus, Metropolis, Dwell, Seed, C3, and Archiworld.

홍익대 건축학과/도시공학과를 졸업하고 미국 펜실베니아대학(Univ. of Pennsylvania)에서 건축학 석사, 하버드 대학(Harvard Univ.) 디자인대학원(GSD)에서 디지털 디자인과 프로젝트 매니지먼트로 석사와 박사를 취득하였다. Harvard Center for Design Informatics, Fuji-Xerox Palo Alto Laboratory, General Dynamics C4 Systems에서 연구원으로 재직하였다.
