The Data Atlas of South Korea: Demography, Society, Economic Activity

Daniel J. Schwekendiek holds a PhD in economics from the University of Tuebingen in Germany, where he specialized in the socio-economic and bio-demographic history of Korea. He is presently an Assistant Professor in the Academy of East Asian Studies at Sungkyunkwan University and has held academic appointments at the University of Oxford, Seoul National University, and UC Berkeley. His articles have appeared in leading field journals such as Economics and Human Biology, Economic History Review, Journal of Biosocial Science, Social Science and Medicine, and Population and Development Review, among others. This is his fifth book. Daniel J. Schwekendiek는 한국의 사회-경제사와 생물학적 인구통계사를 주제로 독일 튀빙겐대학에서 경제학 박사학위를 받았다. 저자는 옥스퍼드대학, 서울대학교, UC Berkeley에서 연구하였었고, 현재 성균관대학교 동아시아학술원 교수로 재직 중이다. 저자의 논문들은 Economics and Human Biology, Economic History Review, Journal of Biosocial Science, Social Science and Medicine, Population and Development Review 같은 해당분야의 국제 저명학술지에 게재되었다.
