Andrew Eungi Kim (지은이)    정보 더보기
(Ph.D in Sociology, University of Toronto) is Professor in the Division of International Studies at Korea University. He is also the Director of the International Education and Research Center for Global Cultural Studies, Korea University, and is a member of the editorial boards of Religions, Koreana, Journal of Korean Religions, and Journal of Multicultural Society. He served as the Dean of both the Graduate School of International Studies and the Division of International Studies at the same university. He also served as the Vice President of the World Association for Hallyu Studies (WAHS) and as Editor of the Asian Journal of Canadian Studies. His articles have appeared in Social Indicators Research, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Religions, Asian Survey, Social Compass, Pacific Review, Social History, Korea Observer, and Sociology of Religion, among others. His recent publications include Korean Society: An Introduction (edited, 2017); and Hallyu and Countercurrent: The Potential and the Limit to its Role as a Means of Cultural Diplomacy (2021, in Korean).
