소개서문
나날이 급변하는 의·약학 분야에서 의약품사용 지침서 역할을 수행해 온‘CMC 의약품집’이 2013년 이후 의약품의 주요 변동사항 등에 대한 개정과 신규 보강작업을 마치고 이번으로 제 14개정판을 발간하게 되었습니다. 이를 위하여 끊임없이 노력하여 주신 서울성모병원 약제부 약사들과 관계자 여러분들께 깊은 감사의 말씀을 드립니다.


우리 CMC(Catholic Medical Center)의 영성은 치유자로서의 예수 그리스도를 우리 안에 체현하여 질병으로 고통 받는 사람들을 보살피는데 있습니다. 이를 위하여 가톨릭대학교 의과대학, 약학대학, 간호대학 및 서울성모병원을 비롯한 8개 부속병원의 전 CMC 구성원이 노력하고 있습니다. CMC 전 병원과 의과대학 의 AAHRPP(The Association For The Accreditation Of Human Research Protection Program) 인증 획득, 서울성모병원의 JCI(Joint Commission International) 전 부문 인증 획득 등을 통해 국제 수준의 최고 의료기관으로서 의료 경쟁력을 인정받았으며, 새로이 시작한 약학대학의 발전과 함께 신뢰받는 최고의 의료기관으로 확고히 자리매김하고자 노력하고 있습니다.


의료계는 여러 가지 의료 정책 및 제도 등에 있어 큰 변화를 맞고 있습니다. 또한 변화 속에서도 국내 제약산업은 발전을 거듭하여 세계적인 신약을 개발하고 있으며, 국내 뿐 아니라 전 세계적으로 생명공학 연구가 발전하여 난치병 치료를 향해 한걸음씩 다가가고 있습니다. 이러한 의료 환경 속에서 의료기관은 환자의 치료를 위해 더욱 노력하고 있습니다. 환자의 치료에서 약물요법은 커다란 비중을 차지합니다. 예로부터 의사가 약을 잘 쓰면 명의가 되고, 아무리 좋은 약이라도 잘못 쓰면 독약이 된다는 말이 있듯이 약의 적응증, 투여법, 부작용, 금기사항 등을 잘 알고 처방할 때 그 약이 지니고 있는 본래의 효능을 최대한 발휘하여 환자들의 소중한 생명을 구할 수 있을 것입니다. 이러한 의미에서 1985년 초판이 발행된 이래 14번째 개정판을발간하게 된‘CMC 의약품집’은 인간 생명 존중의 최일선에서 환자를 돌보는 의료진들에게 소중한 지침서가 될 것이며, 진정으로 환자에게 사랑을 실천하는 명의로 거듭날 수 있는 도구로 쓰여질 것을 믿어 의심치않습니다.


이 책이 고통 받는 환자 진료에 효율적으로 사용되어 소중한 지침서로서의 역할을 다할 수 있기를 기원합니다.
