또한 DC 바이어스 회로 설계 시 고려하여야 할 것은, 출력 AC 전압 파형의 진폭이다. DC 바이어스 회로를 통해 동작점이 결정될 경우, 이 점을 기준으로 소신호 AC 출력의 진폭이 결정되게 된다. 이는 주로 부하저항에 의해 결정되며, AC-적 으로 고려될 필요가 있다. 그림 11-3의 회로에서 출력 측에서 KVL을 적용하면 아래와 같이 쓸 수 있을 것이다.
