♣활동 5-1 먼주의 꿈 <이야기 듣기>
INSTRUCTION
1.Listen carefully to the story “°Munju’s Dream.”±
2. Have the students share their impression of the story with others.
3.Encourage students to think about their dreams and assist them in thinking about what they need to do in order to pursue their dream.
One day, Munju ran into somebody who claimed that if she went to South Korea she would make a lot of money. Munju thought, ‘If I earned enough money, I could support my family and perhaps they could live comfortably. If we had enough money my family would be happy.’ Munju decided to go to Korea. She was certain that, in Korea, money must grow on trees. Munju decided that going to Korea would be the best way to support her family.
After the incident, Munju cried alone in her room, thinking, ‘Now I don’t even have all of my fingers and people will laugh at me. How will I be able to pay back the money my mother borrowed from her friends, and who would marry a person missing so many fingers?’ She just wanted to die.
