‘하늘은 스스로 돕는 자를 돕는다’는 말이 있습니다. 또한 ‘모든 것은 때가 있다’라는 말도 현명한 조언으로 자주 사용됩니다.
내가 나 자신을 돕는다는 것은 해야 할 일을 찾아 열심을 다 한다는 의미입니다. 반면 모든 것은 때가 있다는 말은 아무리 노력하고 분주하게 살아도 내가 원하는 결과물이 원하는 시점에 나오지 않을 수도 있음을 뜻합니다. 또한 그것은 내가 계획하지 않은 모습으로 나타나
거나 전혀 다른 방향으로 흘러갈 수도 있음을 암시합니다.
하늘은 스스로 돕는 자를 돕지만, 그 타이밍은 하늘과 우주가 결정합니다.
“온 마음으로 할 수 있는 일을 다 하되, 결과에 집착하지 마라.”
쓰고 있는 필자 자신도 고리타분하여 하품이 나오고 너무 당연해서 말하기도 부끄럽지만, 이 단순함이 진리인 것을 어쩌겠습니까? 이것이 바로 끌어당김의 법칙과 놓아버림의 균형이며 우주의 작동 원리입니다.
필자의 책들이 이 원리를 기억하도록 돕는 충실한 가이드가 되길 바랍니다.
